[...okay, so when was the last time he did this? Three years ago? ...ha. Right. It's really been three years since he came to Luceti.

Well, after a few moments of just staring into the journal, Riku clears his throat and decides to speak up.]

You know, it's been three years since I came here, but it feels like I'm just going through the motions. Everything's just so routine. Maybe I'm just not making enough effort to shake things up. Hard to say, but...

Okay, you know what? I think I should just get to the point. So... yeah, name's Riku, and I'd say I'm in need of some friends. Yes, Kairi, I'm actually doing this by choice this time.

[Because last time was just awkward.]

And for anyone else who's been here a while, got any pointers for keeping busy long term? I know at least some of you keep pretty busy. Heck, if any newcomers have pointers, I'll take just about anything right now.

Then, you're in luck. [Her hand gradually finishes on his chest so it can work on one of his shoulders. Once she does so, Ino leans in to whisper in his ear.]

[...Whispering, oh man. Riku takes in a sharp breath, glancing at her from the corner of his eye.]

Careful. You wouldn't want to inflate my ego too much.

[She giggles lightly, kissing his cheek before pulling away completely. She has the most innocent of smiles.]

Why, what's gonna happen if I do?

It might all go to my head.

[He grins.]

And I don't wanna come off as too confident.

Even with how awesome you are, you're still so modest. [Shoulders already successfully coated!]

I knew I picked the right guy. [Only the best! Fine, go and enjoy this kiss she's going to give for being that guy.]

[Oh, another kiss? Well, he'll go ahead and reciprocate, slinging his arm around her. His back can wait... for now.]

[For now. Ino wraps her arms around his neck so she can deepen the kiss just a bit, pressing her chest against his in a display of pure affection. She doesn't completely pull away, though, and instead lingers for a while, her nose brushing against his.]

I really don't know what I'd do without you.

[Well, hopefully she won't mind if he cups his hand around her cheek, gaaazing into her eyes...

And he smirks.]

There you go again, stroking my ego. ...But, thanks. It does mean a lot to me.

[Of course, she won't mind! She gazes back at his eyes too and to that smirk. Oh, Riku.]

I'm glad. Because I was only being honest. [No need for flattery when she can just tell the truth, right?]

Man, I don't know how you do it.

[Here, he'll give that cheek a light caress.]

Not every day I get compliments like that.

[She leans in to that touch.]

I really have to wonder why.

Might be the attitude.

[He shrugs, running his fingers through her hair.]

I'm not exactly marching around, trying to befriend everybody.

[It's a light jab at Sora, but he means well. Besides, he can be a little rough around the edges.]

I guess you're right.

[She winks as she loves the way his fingers tread through her hair. She works hard everyday making it pretty like that for him!] That whole mystery adds to your appeal, you know. [Leans in to kiss the corner of his lips.]

That kiss earns another peck on the lips from Riku before he pulls back just a little.]

And here I was about to expose all my dark secrets.

[Only, y'know, not really.]

[She's the most sly, okay? Two can play this kissing game, though. She plans to up him one later.]

Oh, but that'll take away all the thrill.

Then I guess you'll just have to squeeze them out of me one by one.

[He says this as he leans in and whispers into her ear. Now they're even.]
