So, is anyone else getting a a feeling of déjà-vu around here? Seems awful late for New Feathers to show up, especially this many.

[And with that said, Riku will head out to scan the village and see who he can find! It's awfully crowded, so of course he's curious.]

[Oh, the combination of the scent and footsteps immediately catch Riku's attention. Immediately, he stops in his tracks and turns around, only to gasp.

Though at first Ansem might catch him staring, his expression quickly turns into a sneer.]

[A voice that's not exactly familiar to Riku. It's enough to distract him from his trek through the village, though, and he turns towards the source of the sound.]

[Careful Riku, something black is rolling down the hill and it's headed straight for you. It looks round, like a ball, but at the same time there's something off about it.

As if that isn't weird enough, a headless body is chasing after it. Like the round thing, it's completely black, with huge feet and a cottontail. It's also wearing blue shorts.]

Stop! Get back heeere! C'mon, this ain't funny!

Riku steps out of the way, so the head doesn't hit him, but once it gets close enough, he'll try to uh. Grab it.]

[have a Xion who is most certainly not the one he's acquainted with! she's looking around in confusion as her eyes settle on the other boy. she almost doesn't recognize him at first, since she's not used to him looking like that... but it's the same face, the same voice, and she's seen him like this in his memories before.]

[with an edge of caution to her voice, she approaches him and asks:]
