Well, after a few moments of just staring into the journal, Riku clears his throat and decides to speak up.]

You know, it's been three years since I came here, but it feels like I'm just going through the motions. Everything's just so routine. Maybe I'm just not making enough effort to shake things up. Hard to say, but...

Okay, you know what? I think I should just get to the point. So... yeah, name's Riku, and I'd say I'm in need of some friends. Yes, Kairi, I'm actually doing this by choice this time.

And for anyone else who's been here a while, got any pointers for keeping busy long term? I know at least some of you keep pretty busy. Heck, if any newcomers have pointers, I'll take just about anything right now.

[Then it's time to march in the direction of the good ol' teleporter, so they can make their beach day a great big hit. Naturally, he'll hold onto her hand just as securely. No point in hiding the fact that they're a thing.]

[While walking to the direction of the teleporter, Ino smiles at him as she starts some small talk.] I take it you're excited?

Plus, it's been way too cold to visit the beach. About time it started heating up.

Well, that's true. I wouldn't be able to wear comfy clothes for a while when that starts.

Well, we might as well make the most of it while it lasts. At least we've got a few months to work with.

[And it'll only get hotter and sunnier as the days go on.]

Do I smell a frequent beach outing, then?

[She wouldn't oppose to this, but she's mostly just teasing.]

[Said with a totally straight face, too. He's serious about this.]

[Yup, she can tell he is, so Ino just gives him a wink.]

Of course, I am. I'm starting to feel that you're spoiling me too much, though. [Which isn't a bad thing, surely.]

[A giggle as a light blush forms on her cheeks.] You know me far too well.

[Anyway, they should be reaching that teleporter soon, which means the beach is right around the corner!]

[She snorts and playfully elbows him.]

Well, no need to miss it now. We've got a good three months to enjoy ourselves.

[But he means that in the nicest way. Anyhow, once he finds a suitable spot, he'll carefully guide her over in that direction, so they can get the blanket all set up.]

[Anyway, she'll let him lead her that when they eventually find that spot, Ino will lay down the blanket. It's a good thing it's small and big enough for two.]

[Well, while she gets that set up, Riku will dig into his pack for the sunscreen because, okay, as much as he's looking forward to it, it's just smart to put it on.]

[While she sets things up, Ino turns to look at Riku, subtly watching him apply sunscreen on himself. A smirk, then, begins playing on her lips.]

[He hasn't been applying all that much, really. Mostly, he's just getting it out and ready to go. Dude still has to get his shirt off, anyhow.

But when Ino asks, he'll smirk right back at her.]

[This is true, but that doesn't deter Ino. Approaching him when everything's been set up, she snags the bottle from him and squeezes some of its contents on her palm.]

[Haha, so she's way ahead of him, eh? Well, he'll go ahead and pack that shirt away. After all, he doesn't want to get it drenched if they decide to go for a swim.]
