Anyway, I need a weapon, and a good one. I know there's a weapon around, but I really don't know where to start. Any suggestions?

[Riku's out by the edge of the village right now, just gazing up at the sky. Despite this place being so different back home, there are some things that don't really change. Besides, the shooting stars remind him of when Kairi first showed up on the island, of what sparked his interest in other worlds. Funny how he got his wish, only to wind up stuck.]

What kind of weapon?

Some kind of sword, preferably.

You should be able to find one in the store, and if you can't find anything you like there, I'm sure Lloyd would be able to make you one.

I'll have to take a look. We didn't really have real weapons back home, just wooden replicas.

Those don't do a lot of good against monsters...

Which is why I need a better weapon. Thing is, we didn't really have monsters back home.

It sounds like a lot of worlds don't have monsters... maybe mine is just strange.

Has to be more interesting than mine, at least.

I don't know, it can be pretty dangerous to wander around some places.

How dangerous are we talking, then?

Some of them can eat you in one bite... at least, that's what my uncle used to tell me.

So they're huge, then.

Not all of them-- some of them are about the size of a cat. My chimera Sial is pretty small.

You guys consider something that small a monster?

Um, yes.

What's so monstrous about something that small?

Nothing, really. They're just considered monsters.
