So, here's a question. How many of you think that being stuck here has an effect on anything that ought to happen back home? Someone seems to think so, and I really don't see why.
Do people even remember this place when they leave? Just seems like a waste even worrying about that.

And yeah, it's a lot of trouble, but really, not a whole lot I can do. Until I came here, I didn't know anything different.

So this place has been some kind of learning experience, I take it.

[And I'm going to assume that this response is being sent today, so you get a new addition]
Oh, and to answer your original question, someone else from my world arrived last night. And it seems that even with my being here, I still existed there. None of it makes sense really, and it's probably going to take us all some time to sort it all out.

Huh. So it's like being here doesn't count...

Yeah, it seems that way. It makes me wonder about another thing. What if we change here in some drastic manner besides the obvious being given wings and all? Seems like that won't even affect things, does it?
I mean, we sure can't die here from what I'm hearing, and there are those who were dead who exist here. It seems we could even become a completely different person and it won't change things.

Maybe this place'd be like a dream. Anything that happens just disappears, like you never even left. I mean, it'd be kind of strange if someone lost a limb and went home without it.
