So I'm guessing this book's used to communicate, right? If so, I've got a few questions.

First of all, what is this place? It looks like another world, and last I checked people don't just grow wings out of nowhere, but I'm pretty sure they don't just pop up like this, either.

Second, if you've seen anyone by the name of Sora or Kairi I'd kind of like to know. Knowing Sora, he's probably lost somewhere, and Kairi can't be too far behind.

I just met him too, maybe a few days ago. He says he's a Replica made to be a perfect copy of you.

Yeah, that's right. Did he explain it?

Not really. Mostly he just explained that we're some kind of 'experiments', but fat chance I'm gonna let that happen.

I know you won't. The three of us, we'll work together to get out of here right? [fff like hell she's going to be the one to tell Riku about his fate, not yet anyway]

Sure thing. Anything's better than being someone's pet project.

The experiments really aren't that bad though.

Then what are they like, Kairi?

They're more confusing than anything. The last one, I was singing to animals and twirling around in a pink dress with a tiara. The one before that, I had my own Ke-...weapon. I had a weapon and a giant blue and green circle following me everywhere with my face in it. The one before that I ended up kissing somebody I actually don't like like that and before that, I was a rabbit.

Confusing more than anything.

... Yeah, no kidding. Still, it sounds like a pain, Kairi.

How long have you and Sora been here, anyway?

Yeeeah, it kind of is. Inconvenient I think is what I was looking for.

Sora was here longer than I was, but he left about three months ago and just recently came back. I've been here for almost five. The older version of you was around too for a little while.

So it's mostly just been you, huh? Can't believe Sora would just leave like that...

Yeah, pretty much. What, you don't think I can fend for myself for three months?

--Hey, I'm just saying that Sora's got some nerve to just leave you behind, unless it wasn't intentional. I'm still new, so it's not like I know how things work around here.

Of course it wasn't intentional. If I didn't know any better I'd say you're just trying to make yourself sound better, Riku. Besides, the older you left me behind too.

I figured as much. Sora's not the kind to just ditch people, so it wouldn't make sense. Still, how'd you get by without us?

I know it's shocking, but I can survive without you guys. It was just boring to do.

Plus, you know, I made some friends.

Boring, huh? Well, good thing we're both here.

And guess that's not too surprising. Doesn't seem hard for you and Sora to make friends.

Definitely a good thing. I was beginning to wonder if I really was going to be here by myself forever.

From what I've heard, Sora had a lot of friends when he was here the first time. [And that's that, she's not going to talk about who exactly she's befriended yet]
