[There's a brief pause before Riku speaks into the journal. He's been a bit restless as of late, and with the Replica around and his short encounter with Aku, well...]

Anyone up for a round? Haven't had much practice lately, so I could use a sparring partner. I use a sword, but I won't be too picky about weapons.

[ that makes her open her eyes again, glancing up at him with a small frown before she sighs. ] Probably. One day he'll learn.

[ interlaces her fingers over her tummy, looking up at him quietly for a moment. suddenly she smiles, just a little. ] By the way ... thanks, Riku.

I hope so. He can go on about me being a stubborn prick all he likes, but I've learned to just ignore it.

[Hm? Well, that gets a shrug out of it.]

Why are you thanking me?

[ is just silent for a moment before sitting up, wrapping her arms and looking at him. she just smiles a little wider, in a sweet but knowing sort of way. ]

Oh, no reason.

[... Pokes her on the forehead. B)]

[ wh-HEY. makes a face and swats at his hand, laughing a little ] It's nothing!

Nah. Couldn't be.

[POKE. Actually, this time he'll poke her in the ribs. He does this with Kairi aaall the time.]

[ ALSKJGHALSJ L-LOLS. and is a bit pink in the face. for no real reason, you know. anyway POKING BACK BECAUSE THIS IS WAR. ]

[ just .. flailing and laughing and yelling a bit. h8 u Riku. she does try and wriggle out of his grasp, at least. ] I-I would if I could!

Well, I guess I can go easy on you...

[SUDDENLY! Letting her loose.]

[ DEAR GOD, MAN. laughing breathlessly, she pats her messed up hair back down and smacks him on the arm. ]

[Riku continues to smirk, giving her a light nudge.]

[ sticks her tongue out at him and responds to his nudge by leaning against him, a little, for a moment. ]

... like I said before, you always help me, somehow. So ... I was just saying thank you for that, I guess.

[... Leaning, what? He. Might be a tiiiny bit pink because that was unexpected.]

... Right. Well, you're welcome.

[ blinks up at him, and ... notices the pink. ]

Riku...

Yeah?

... [ and now that they're this close and staring soulfully into each other's eyes, it's HER turn to get a bit pink. um. shaking her head, she finally stands, offering a hand to help him up. ]

N-Nothing.

If you say so.

[Le shrug. He'll go ahead and take that hand aaand up he goes.]

[ that was weird. still, she tries to smile a little. ]

I should head back and get cleaned up... but, um, that's the first time I've used the Keyblade since Sora gave it to me. Could you ... let me know if you see anything different about him?
