Okay, so something's going on. Either it's another experiment, or there's more to it.

I mean, why else would people keep changing? Still doesn't explain why the changes are so different, though.

Exactly. We've already had to deal with that earthquake and the monsters. Last thing we need is another attack.

Especially when everyone is as confused as they are too. I just hope this experiment doesn't have an awful backlash.
