[When Riku went to visit Sora that morning, he found nothing but an empty room. He didn't need to think twice to figure out what happened. And... heh, for the third time since he arrived in Luceti, too.

It's upsetting, but Riku tends to keep his feelings bottled up a lot of the time. Doesn't help that he's finally snapped out of experimental stupor and still feels... something. But that doesn't matter right now. Today, he's going to address the journal to spread the news. First, he'll address the others from their universe with a quick filter...]

Looks like Sora's gone home again. I know he had a lot of friends, so I... just thought I'd pass it on.

[ And of course, the moment Xion found out, came home and saw Riku and saw Sora's room and saw--

She can't. She just can't do this. Axel's gone and dead, Giles is gone, something is desperately direly wrong with Luke and he won't tell her what, and now Sora is...?

She's been so good about dealing. So strong. She hasn't even cried.

But she can't. Not now, not anymore. In the doorway to Sora's barren, empty room she crumples, a wounded, grieving noise escaping her, and she just stays there, doubled over, her head in her hands, unable to rise.

The only thing -- the only person she even wants near her right now is Roxas. And she says his name, brokenly, without even realizing. ]

[Well, after he got Riku's message, Ven very quickly made his way into the house. He's not sure what's going on, but when he sees Xion, he hurries right over to her.]

Xion...?

[ She doesn't respond.

It's not Roxas. She knows it instinctively, even before it registers that Roxas wouldn't be saying her name like that, questioningly.

All she does is shake her head, a tight motion. ]

[He'd followed Ven after getting the message, but at a distance due to still recovering. (How in the worlds did he manage to get bugged-? Oh well.) Thus he was a little behind in getting there and... seeing someone else in the house, on the floor.]

[hello, Xion. these two may not have met yet but she can't ignore someone in distress. she hears the sounds of grieving and follows them to their source, crouching down next to Xion and putting a reassuring hand gently on her back]

[He's not going to verbally respond, but he will be quickening his pace to join her in the doorway and falling to his knees to join her. He folds his legs under him and stares into the empty room, knowing exactly what it is that Xion's thinking and feeling.

...he shifts to bring his knees to his chest, using one arm to wrap around them and the other to rest a hand on Xion's shoulder.]

[And Riku... will be hanging by the door as people come in, occasionally passing by Sora's room for good measure. Oh, and looking for Kairi because he knows she'll be upset.

But mostly he's just chilling, trying to keep his cool.]

[Of course she's upset; Kairi's incredibly upset that this is the fourth time she's watched Sora leave Luceti, but she's got to be strong for the others, right? The problem is she knows she can't hide it from Riku...but as she approaches him to watch the doorway for the others, she'll keep quiet.]

[The moment Luke sees that message, he stands up and walks to his door, intent on finding Xion and being there for her -

Then, he stops himself, one hand gripping the doorjamb. And he thinks, just staring down at the floor. She's been through a lot of grief lately, and he knows it. And what would he do if all of that happened, if Ion went back home, and he knew something was wrong with Xion, and then Asch went home, especially with Luke's awful suspicions that he always makes himself forget about -

He'd want to be alone. No Xion, not even Guy if he were here, he'd just want to be alone. Or, at least, the only company he'd want would be Asch... and he would be gone. That would make it all worse.

So, it hurts. It hurts, but he pushes himself back from the door, back to his room. Once he's sitting at his desk again, he opens up his journal to write, just to leave a message.]

Don't worry about anything else right now.

[Not him, not their anniversary. Just don't. Right now those are unimportant compared to this. And he doesn't expect an answer, either, so he'll just stand up again to find something to do. He will keep his journal nearby, of course, if she does need him. But otherwise, he won't push himself onto her.]

[Aqua came with Ven. She may not know everyone, and what few she does she doesn't know well, but she's not one to not come to try and do her best to offer what comfort she can. she's basically walking about, looking for anyone she can offer words of sympathy and reassurance to]

The moment she hears Riku's message, the first thing that pops into her head is 'But he didn't tell me all of his stories yet.' It seems silly to think of something like that when you hear that someone's gone home but... really she isn't quite sure how to process it entirely. Well, more like her brain doesn't want to process it.

But after just a few minutes... the message really does start to sink in. Her throat goes dry and her eyes slowly begin to well up with tears.

Unlike some of the other people who have left recently, Sora was one of her closer friends, he was always there for her. So now... it's apparently her turn to cry and actually feel the same sadness everyone else has been feeling for a while now. She can't even bring herself to repeat her own words to herself, 'he'll come back', because right at this very moment...

Sora is gone.

And she doesn't even know when he'll be back. Days, weeks, months? Who knows. She wishes she knew.

Naoto closes the journal instead of giving Riku a proper thank you, stands up from her desk and just walks away. She needs to be alone. Burying her nose in a book for a while should do the trick.]

[He's had the time to converse with some of the others by now, but that didn't stop him from simply wandering off on his own. True, he didn't meet Sora, yet it was because of his adventures back in their World that he even exists in the first place. Coupling that with the devastation he can read so plainly, he couldn't help but show sympathy--or something close to it--to those who did know him. What's more was...

The youngest Rikuface just stands there in the corner, leaning against the wall as others talk. He should really let those who knew him miss their friend together, after all...right?]
