Well, after a few moments of just staring into the journal, Riku clears his throat and decides to speak up.]

You know, it's been three years since I came here, but it feels like I'm just going through the motions. Everything's just so routine. Maybe I'm just not making enough effort to shake things up. Hard to say, but...

Okay, you know what? I think I should just get to the point. So... yeah, name's Riku, and I'd say I'm in need of some friends. Yes, Kairi, I'm actually doing this by choice this time.

And for anyone else who's been here a while, got any pointers for keeping busy long term? I know at least some of you keep pretty busy. Heck, if any newcomers have pointers, I'll take just about anything right now.

[Ino arrives shortly after, wearing what she usually does when she goes out to the beach - a purple see-through shirt that exposes her bra underneath and short shorts. She has a small bag with her, too, that also has essentials. Spotting Riku from afar, she calls out.]

Hey there, handsome!

[And once he spots her, he'll go ahead and head over to her in order to meet her halfway.]

Don't you agree on what I called you?

[She quickens her pace a bit so they can meet faster, slinging her bag securely on her back.]

And here I was trying to be modest.

[He smirks. One of these days, he'll totally give her a similar compliment just to see what she does.]

[She'll probably blush like a ripe tomato! In any case, when Ino's finally right in front of him, she kisses his cheek in greeting before patting the spot she pecked.]

[But hmm, a cheek peck? He'll do her one better, giving her a quick kiss on the lips.]

[Even with all the kisses they had already shared, receiving one from Riku always makes her melt and blush brightly. She gives him a small smile of appreciation, though.]

Yup. Let's go~ [In response to that kiss, Ino grabs his hand and holds it securely. Yeah, she's all about showing off her man.]

[Then it's time to march in the direction of the good ol' teleporter, so they can make their beach day a great big hit. Naturally, he'll hold onto her hand just as securely. No point in hiding the fact that they're a thing.]

[While walking to the direction of the teleporter, Ino smiles at him as she starts some small talk.] I take it you're excited?

Hey, how could I not be? It's a nice day, I've got you here...

[...Guh, sappiness. It's not something he's used to, but he's still managing to keep a straight face.]

Plus, it's been way too cold to visit the beach. About time it started heating up.

I know, right? I've been wanting to go to the beach with you again ever since we began dating. [Or maybe even before they became official?]
