So... suppose you've been dating someone for, say, about a year. Your first anniversary's coming up, and you really want to blow them away.

[Heh, heh. It's something that's been on his mind for several days now. A whole year is a big deal for someone whose last romantic affairs ended in utter despair. Or heartbreak, at the very least.]

I've got a few ideas, but... well, I don't want to give her anything short of the best. I want it to be something she'll remember.

So, yeah, if anyone's got suggestions, I'm all ears.

I've tried to read up on it a little, but I'm still kind of rusty. If nothing else, I'm checking the meanings before I scoop up any flowers, just to make sure I grab all the right ones.

Well, I've learned some things from Ino. Mostly because she insisted since all of her coworkers at the flower shop obviously aren't here. [ Nervous laugh. ] So, if you want someone to make bouquets, I'd be interested. [ Her nimble hands could probably make 365, if there are enough flowers. One for every day of the year! ]

Ino's a very over the top person. She'd appreciate that kind of dedication. I think she'd do the same, if she had the resources.

She is a very charming person. If I had to put anyone in the Konoha 11 in charge of diplomacy... [ Wait. What the hell is she saying. ] It'd be Shikamaru. But she's definitely in the top five! [ Much much better! ]

Top five's still not a bad spot to be. Besides, I'm sure she could handle if it she really put her mind to it.

Yeah. As long as it doesn't have to do with [ ...Actually, what does she feel about Sasuke...? Ino's actually pretty well off here romantically. Still, Tenten doesn't want to make this an awkward question in the future so she quickly covers it up. ] colorblind people doing flower arrangements, we'll be fine!

Color's a pretty big deal, so... yeah. I'd be kind of worried if that happened.

Yeah. One time, some guy tried to impress Ino by giving her a really sweet bouquet. The flowers looked all in place and everything, but the symbolism and colors made her so upset. Apparently, he called her an old maid and used her most hated colors. Poor guy. [ She giggles playfully. It was pretty funny! ]
