It's kind of crazy seeing all the newbies popping in again. Happens every two months, but whenever a cycle starts, it's like the whole village picks up speed before settling back into its usual calm. Just another part of the routine, I guess.

But it's kind of jarring, too. When it comes to people from my universe, the numbers just keep dwindling. I've already tried getting in touch with Roxas, and, well... You know what happens when filters break.

[...Sigh. Maybe he's getting a bit rambly here.]

Anyway, ice cream. I've got a ton of it that's just taking up freezer space. For any newbies and anyone else who doesn't mind hanging around the fountain, I'm more than happy to toss you a stick. With all the departures, I could probably use more socializing, anyway.

Plus, the last time I got too reclusive, Kairi strapped me to a chair.

But after leaving his message, Riku can be found hanging around the fountain with a box of sea salt ice cream. Not his favorite flavor, but he had to try it at least once. He's also joined by his Komory Bat, who will greet newcomers with enthusastic squeaks and quite possibly hover circles around them. He's kind of enthusiastic.

It's kind of a funny contrast between him and Riku, now a young adult in much milder colored clothes. Even he's a bit baffled by how much he's changed in hindsight.]

That's because it kind of did a number on my pride. Not that it really matters now; even if I kept quiet about it, I know you'd find a way to squeeze it out of me.

[He snickers. After all, Ino knows her way around him.]

Basically, they tied me down to a chair with a frilly apron and a table packed with cupcakes and cookies... right in the center of town. It was a long, long day.

[She giggles even louder when he told her the story and she only stops to give him a smirk. He's right. She knows him too well by now for him to assume she can find her way around him.]

I wouldn't mind a long day like that if the apron's the only thing you'll be wearing in my room. [Followed by a playful wink.]

[...Oh. His eyes widen for a split second before a huge smirk creeps its way across his face.]

Feeling a little adventurous, huh?

[Oh, she sees that smirk alright. Very inviting.]

Maybe. Or maybe I just really want to see you with only an apron on. [But the latter is very unconvincing.]

Is that with or without the baked goods?

[Because if it's with them, that'd be... new.]

[Hmm, good question. Ino actually pauses to think about that.]

I think I'd prefer with the baked goods.

[That gets a tiny gasp outta Riku, and his eyes widen again. So wait... is she saying she wants to... with baked goods--

As he tries to paint a picture in his mind, a redness creeps across his face.

But he's gotta keep it together! Play it smooth. He can work with this.]

Uh... So, does that include frosting?

[...Did he really just go there? He did, didn't he? Aw, gee.]

[Okay, that got her to giggle again. Really, for someone who doesn't socialize much and appears cool overall, Ino takes pride in making him flustered.

She gives him an innocent smile, though, as if what they're talking about is perfectly normal.]

Of course! I love frosting. [Another giggle and a barely evident smirk.] Especially if it's on you.

[Now you've done it, Ino. If his face was red before, now it's on fire, as he coughs and sputters a bit.

Okay, deep breaths. Nothing to worry about. It can't be that bad, right? But... frosting. Frosting and aprons. How would that even work, exactly?]

Sounds... exciting?

[...Well, it does. Exciting and weird. And, darn it, will this blush please go away? It's hard to keep his cool when he's like a great big strawberry.]

[Well, she'll show you how that works later tonight if you want, hot shot. Regardless, that blush is so cute that Ino giggles some more. Her words are part kidding, part truth, really. The idea is to tease him, but she wants to try it too.]

I'm sure it will be. [Then she shakes her head.] Don't tell me you're scared?

[Okay, he's mostly calmed down by now. Just give him a second here as he runs a hand through his hair.]

Not scared. You just threw me off guard, but I'm not... against it or anything. Just don't know where I'd start is all.

Don't worry, leave that to me. [Where to start and all. But she's not a considerate girlfriend for nothing so her next words are said softer.] But really, if you feel uncomfortable, it's okay.

No, it's fine. Really. Can't knock it 'til I've tried it, right?

And besides, I trust you.

[A satisfied smile spreads across her lips.]

Good. I value that trust. Besides- [A softer smile, this time.] treat it as my way of thanks for making me feel good all those days I'm down. Now I want you to feel good, too.

Well, you already make me feel good just by hanging around.

[A pause.]

Still, I can't turn down that kind of offer. Not from you. If nothing else, I'm sure it'll be exciting.
