It's kind of crazy seeing all the newbies popping in again. Happens every two months, but whenever a cycle starts, it's like the whole village picks up speed before settling back into its usual calm. Just another part of the routine, I guess.

But it's kind of jarring, too. When it comes to people from my universe, the numbers just keep dwindling. I've already tried getting in touch with Roxas, and, well... You know what happens when filters break.

[...Sigh. Maybe he's getting a bit rambly here.]

Anyway, ice cream. I've got a ton of it that's just taking up freezer space. For any newbies and anyone else who doesn't mind hanging around the fountain, I'm more than happy to toss you a stick. With all the departures, I could probably use more socializing, anyway.

Plus, the last time I got too reclusive, Kairi strapped me to a chair.

But after leaving his message, Riku can be found hanging around the fountain with a box of sea salt ice cream. Not his favorite flavor, but he had to try it at least once. He's also joined by his Komory Bat, who will greet newcomers with enthusastic squeaks and quite possibly hover circles around them. He's kind of enthusiastic.

It's kind of a funny contrast between him and Riku, now a young adult in much milder colored clothes. Even he's a bit baffled by how much he's changed in hindsight.]

[DUDE THAT IS KIND OF AWESOME don't mind if Emil just keeps up with the scratching so that he keeps on sparkling like that. Sial can't do that, that much is for sure!

And fortunately that still leaves one hand free for the ice cream bar, which he'll take with a grateful nod.]

At least we've got the lakes and the rivers to swim in if it gets too bad. Or the beach, if you want to go out that far. I've only been there a few times myself.

[Emil, please. Riku really can't resist the urge to laugh as he keeps petting his bat. Keep at it, and you'll spoil him.]

Well, there's always the teleporters if you need a shortcut to the beach. Then you can shave off a pretty huge chunk of the travel time.

Yeah, I'm glad we have those now. They're kind of weird to use, though. I mean, you're basically crawling into a barrel. It's a little awkward if you want to bring a lot of stuff with you.

True. It'd be a whole lot easier if I still had access to dark corridors-- then I'd even offer to help people haul their stuff around.

[But, alas, that's one dark ability he lacks nowadays, even if he's got flowmotion to make up for it.]

That would be nice. You could go all the way out to the lake without having to walk there.

Well, walking's a non-issue for me anyway. If I really wanted to, I could just fling myself off of the trees and make it there in a few minutes tops.

Well, I can do this.

[He crouches down low and then... whoosh! He leaps at least ten to twelve feet into the air, and if that's not enough, he performs a second leap at the top of his jump before dashing at a building wall and bouncing off of it. Note the strange, purple glow.

Once he hits the ground, he takes a few seconds to catch his breath.]

Not exactly flying, but you'd be surprised at how fast you can travel with Flowmotion.
